The great thing about Brazilians is that Carnival is part of their lives.

That's why I couldn't understand that their summer break ends before Carnival begins.
Isn't it a bit contradictory?

In Argentina, Carnival is also celebrated as well as in some other countries in South America. The most famous one takes place in Entre Rios (State). But, as that is the most important celebration of the year, children go back to school once Carnival season is over.
