I'm busy at the moment, but I'll be back soon!

pjs

I just hate all the variety of nice pjs I have. But there's a reason why: everytime I need to get changed, I've to lift my legs, which means I need to make an effort, which means pain. Though I can't complain, it's great to be working from home, to relax a little bit of what to wear (or not to wear), to order food by telephone (or the net). There are many good things of being at home.
Look, I wouldn't mind if somebody could create pjs that were similar to those rip-off pants strippers use, I would make no effort every time I change!
Now, what about wearing socks?

Olympics

If I watch one more [sort of Chinese history and general data] program, I promise to sleep while the Olympics are on.

Look, it's nice to open our minds and learn about other cultures, but it's enough!!! My brain can't process new info until the end of the year! [by the way, where can I get a new chip for myself? I'll be needing one soon!]

surgeon's comments

I: I didn't think (of) or remember you during the weekend (that I was really in pain). [I was trying to make a joke out of the situation]
surgeon: I don't care what you think of me (as if he were tackling me in a rugby match), really. I care (at the end of the day) what my children think of me.
I: You should care because you're the one who operated on me.
surgeon: [while removing my bandages] Would like a Martini or a Margarita? [because my arms were under my head as if sunbathing].
I: What I need to know is when my belly will be in its normal position and when I´ll be back to life.
surgeon: Well, fifteen days to remove the stitches, one week for your belly, a month to fully recover...
I: Great that you didn't mention these matters before the surgery...
surgeon: ... and your doctor will remove your stitches... [meaning, he was too busy to finish his job]

Conclusion: His partner (the one I liked, who wasn't there when he was supposed to) will remove the stitches. In the meantime, I feel miserable with strange and thick threads coming out of my belly!

not in a speaking mode

The (90-minute) operation went well. I'm at home resting. But, if I hear once more that the operation was simple and that I should be walking in a few days (many stitches in my inside -fifteen days [at least]- to recover, three incisions covered, two cysts removed -sent to the lab-, one ovary smaller than the other, a study should be done in three months to check if everything's ok), you'll hear my dirty mouth. By the way, I'm still taking pain killers and on a low-fat diet. Anyway, I'm not in a speaking mode (even though my sense of humour is intact after all the doctors saw me naked), is that normal? [meanwhile, the telephone keeps ringing]

And one question: how can I do to go next Sunday to Holiday On Ice? Ideas? (take into account it's Children's Day in Argentina)
